2015-2016 was a very busy school year. Our school has been working hard on our Global Citizenship and Energy theme. We raised awareness of the diversity of nationalities in our school. We have links with eleven different countries around the world.
Conserving Energy was a vital component of our Energy Awareness projects. We reduced our consumption of oil and electric in all classrooms and communal areas. Third and fourth class monitored the usage of electricity and oil through regular meter reading. Initiates were put in place to reduce usage. We were very proud of our achievement.
We were awarded our Green Schools seventh Renewal Award Certificate for outstanding achievement in improving the environmental quality of the school and community in May 2016
